# Privacy Policy **Template — not legal advice. Effective date: `2026-07-26`** This Privacy Policy explains how `PropertyManager Demo Operator` (“Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with the PropertyManager Service. ## 1. Information we collect **You provide:** name, email, phone, address, date of birth, SSN last four digits (or similar identifiers you submit), employment and income information, lease and application details, emergency contacts, messages, maintenance requests, uploaded documents and photos, and payment-related information necessary to process fees or rent (card/bank details are typically tokenized by our payment processor and not stored in full by us). **Automatically:** IP address, device/browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, and log data for security and operations. **From third parties:** identity/income verification (e.g., Plaid), payment processors (e.g., Stripe), screening providers (if configured), and public or partner sources you authorize. ## 2. How we use information We use information to: operate and secure the Service; create and manage accounts; process applications, leases, payments, and maintenance; communicate with you; prevent fraud/abuse; comply with law; and improve the Service. We do not sell personal information as “sale” is commonly defined under CCPA, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics beyond providing the Service. ## 3. How we share information We share information with: (a) service providers under contract (hosting, email/SMS, payments, storage, analytics, screening); (b) the property manager / owner / tenant parties to a transaction you participate in; (c) professional advisors; (d) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and (e) successors in a merger or sale. ## 4. Retention We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute obligations, and maintain security logs. Application, lease, and payment records may be retained for multi-year periods consistent with landlord-tenant and financial recordkeeping norms. You may request deletion subject to legal holds and legitimate business needs. ## 5. Security We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the risk (access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. ## 6.
